His sire Peppys Doc Bar is the direct son of two NCHA Hall of Fame recipients 'Peppy San & Fizzabar'. Matlock's dam Gay Bar Cutta is from the the beautiful palomino former Australian Champion Cutting Mare Gay Bar Goldie. Her sire is the Bronze Century winning Cuttabar Colonel whose dam is Cuttabar who full sister to Fizzabar, Boon Bar, Docs Haida etc....the famous Doc Bar/Theresa Tivio family, so prominant today in the worlds best cutting horses.

'Strike' was prepared by Vicky Gough for multiple Supremes and Championships at shows in SE Qld in 2007. Including....Best All Breed Foal Exhibit, Supreme Coloured Foal, Supreme Paint Exhibit, Championships in Paint and Pinto Classes....and the Foal Futurity at the Pinto State Show. He continued his success in 2008.

UPDATE......For 2009 Strike has been broken in and is being taken along steadily with all the basics. As predicted, he is going very well, learning very quickly and is a wonderful smooth easy horse to ride. He has been out on his first mustering trips and already showing the natural qualities of a good cow horse. We are hoping to prepare him now for a saddle career.
